The season for movie awards has drawn to a close, it's true. But when the Academy's considering who to crown Best Short Film 2011, we hope they recognize the greatness of this performance by India Reynolds, El Wood and Daisy.

We didn't (though, to be fair, it was before we were even born). The year was 2003, and two employees modeled during an, ahem, "panty fitting meeting." You know, the kind that retail workers attend all the time.

In the years since, American Apparel has greatly expanded their naughty ad line, ditching the amateur camera work for a more polished feel, and inviting everyone from the American Apparel employee next door to, well, Sasha Grey to pose for the camera. But still, there's something charming about this early endeavor into retail porn (so to speak), and there's a part of us that misses those early days.

"Boogie Woogie" is a peek into the workings of the art world, with all its social climbing, manipulation, seduction, and betrayal. Yet somehow, ZOO's exclusive trailer makes it look like a softcore lesbian sex romp. Ah, the power of editing.

Is there any chance that we might secure a copy of "Citizen Kane" that's edited in a similar fashion? Because we'd be way more interested in watching it if it were, you know, full of boobs. (Actually, if they could re-cut every film out there in this fashion...we'd sure watch a lot more films.)

HBO's "Funny or Die Presents" may be a little (okay, a lot) short on the funny, but at least they managed to take advantage of their premium cable status to show off a nice pair of boobs. Yay?

True, it's hardly enough to get us to sit through the entire thirty minute crap fest, but it does teach us all a very important lesson about the power of gratuitous nudity. A lesson certain other premium cable shows could learn from (yes, "This American Life," we're looking squarely at you.).
