Alberich Mathews "Stellar Bodies" appears to have fallen from the web firmament and his more current site "Valkyries" is under the weather as well, but that's why nerds invented Flickr—so that we never have to worry about being able to enjoy things like photos of topless mermaids and underwater nymphs.
Alberich is currently working on a book about these "Rheinmaidens and Rusalka" (think opera, you philistines) and you can follow the process by watching his Flickr stream, where various water-themed galleries capture diaphanous ladies frolicking in the depths. These ghostly, but beautiful images capture women in ways not usually seen, but have got us thinking very seriously about taking scuba lessons.

We're used to thinking of Russia as cold, grey, and eternally Dostoyevskian ... but Roman Gorchakov's photographs aren't any of those things: in fact, they're almost Southern Californian in their bright, saturated colors and carefree, breezy demeanor. Oh, and did we mention they're really sexy too? We don't know what the Russian equivalent of "alt" is, but some of Gorchakov's models wouldn't look out of place on Burning Angel or other places where hot naked babes in thigh high striped stockings congregate. We also don't know how to say "totally fucking hot" in Russian, but for his sake we might have to learn that as well.
Don't you hate it when your
Well buenos dias,
